🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and regulatory compliance of our cloud infrastructure across the Latin American market. You will work closely with our global compliance team to develop and implement cloud-specific compliance policies, procedures, and standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud security, compliance, and risk management, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will report to the Head of Cloud Compliance and work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and risk management.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain cloud-specific compliance policies, procedures, and standards for the Latin American market

- Collaborate with the global compliance team to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards

- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security threats

- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including access management, encryption, and data loss prevention

- Develop and deliver training programs for cloud security and compliance for technical teams

- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and industry standards

- Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews to ensure ongoing compliance

- Develop and maintain relationships with cloud vendors and third-party providers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

- Stay up-to-date with emerging regulatory requirements and industry standards and adapt compliance policies and procedures accordingly

- Collaborate with the compliance team to develop and implement cloud-specific compliance metrics and reporting

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, compliance, and risk management

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

- Strong technical expertise in cloud security, compliance, and risk management

- Experience with cloud security frameworks, such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and NIST

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the Latin American market, including laws and regulations related to data protection and cybersecurity

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex technical information

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Cloud security certifications, such as CCSP or CCIE

- Experience with cloud security tools and technologies, such as AWS CloudFormation or Azure Policy

- Strong understanding of cloud computing models, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

- Experience with risk management frameworks, such as NIST or ISO 27001

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex technical information
