🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Data Engineer for Financial Regulatory Compliance, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based data solutions to ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with our Financial Services team to identify and address data governance, risk management, and regulatory reporting needs. You will report to a Senior Manager and collaborate with other engineers and data scientists to deliver high-quality solutions.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement cloud-based data architectures and pipelines to support financial regulatory compliance. Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address data-related risks and compliance issues. Implement data warehousing and business intelligence solutions to support financial reporting and analysis. Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to support regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR and FINMA. Collaborate with cloud service providers to ensure seamless integration and compliance with cloud-based infrastructure. Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to support data engineering and compliance efforts.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, data governance, and regulatory compliance. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proficiency in cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure. Experience with data governance frameworks, such as NIST or ISO 27001. Strong understanding of financial regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR and FINMA. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java or Python. Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
