🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Data Engineer (Life Sciences) at Humana, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based data platforms to support our life sciences business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data architectures, and implement data pipelines. Your primary focus will be on ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. 📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain cloud-based data platforms using AWS or Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.

Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data-driven insights and visualizations.

Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data architectures, and implement data pipelines.

Develop and maintain documentation for data platforms, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, data architecture, or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Proficiency in cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and related services, such as S3, DynamoDB, or Cosmos DB.

Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.

Experience with data integration tools, such as Apache Beam, Apache NiFi, or AWS Glue.

Certification in AWS or Azure, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Developer.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

Experience with cloud security and compliance, such as AWS IAM or Azure Active Directory.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
