🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Data Security Engineer in our Mexico Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based data systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design and implement secure data storage and access solutions, conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, and develop and maintain our cloud security policies and procedures. You will report to our Senior Manager of Cloud Security and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's security posture.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement secure data storage and access solutions for our cloud-based systems.

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Develop and maintain our cloud security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with our development teams to ensure that our cloud-based applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies and recommend new security solutions and best practices to our teams.

Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to our teams on cloud security best practices and procedures.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on data storage and access solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Security Engineer.

Proven track record of designing and implementing secure cloud-based systems, with a focus on data storage and access solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS IAM or Google Cloud Identity and Access Management.

Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer.

Experience with cloud-based security tools, such as AWS CloudWatch or Google Cloud Logging.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of MXN 500,000 to MXN 800,000 per year, depending on experience.
