🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect - E-commerce Solutions Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions to support Dollar General's e-commerce platform. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improve the overall customer experience. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading technical projects from conception to implementation.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

Collaborate with the e-commerce platform team to identify requirements and design scalable solutions to meet growing demands.

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Terraform.

Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure visibility and troubleshooting capabilities.

Work with development teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues and implement fixes.

Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base for infrastructure configurations and procedures.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud infrastructure.

Collaborate with security teams to ensure secure infrastructure configurations and comply with industry standards.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and implementation.

Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

Experience with containerization (Docker) and serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc.)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

Knowledge of database management systems (RDBMS, NoSQL, etc.)

Certifications in cloud computing (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).
