As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect for Oracle's Enterprise Solutions in Germany, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions for our large-scale enterprise clients. You will work closely with our sales, delivery, and technical teams to provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, migration, and management strategies. Reporting to our Senior Director of Cloud Engineering, you will have a significant impact on the growth and success of our cloud business in the German market.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions for large-scale enterprise clients, utilizing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute cloud migration strategies, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal ROI.

- Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, security, and compliance, ensuring adherence to Oracle's standards and customer requirements.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, guides, and best practices for cloud infrastructure management and optimization.

- Participate in Proof of Concept (POC) projects, demonstrating cloud infrastructure solutions to potential clients and internal stakeholders.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve our cloud offerings and customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with our sales team to develop and deliver cloud-based solutions, aligning with customer needs and Oracle's sales strategies.

- Ensure compliance with Oracle's cloud security, governance, and risk management policies.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and process enhancements within the cloud infrastructure team.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture, engineering, or management, with a focus on large-scale enterprise solutions.

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), cloud infrastructure services (EC2, S3, Lambda), and cloud security, compliance, and governance.

- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration (Ansible, Terraform), and DevOps practices.

- Experience with cloud migration strategies, cloud cost optimization, and cloud-based disaster recovery.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and provide actionable insights.

- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Additional certifications in cloud infrastructure (AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Certified Solutions Architect Expert).

- Experience with cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation).

- Familiarity with Oracle's cloud offerings (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning).

- Background in DevOps, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with cloud-based monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
