🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Native Solutions Architect at Whole Foods Market, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud-based systems to support our e-commerce platform. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet our needs. This role reports to the Senior Director of Cloud Engineering and will have a significant impact on the success of our online business.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement a cloud-native architecture for our e-commerce platform using AWS or GCP services.

- Develop and maintain a serverless computing strategy using services like Lambda or Cloud Functions.

- Collaborate with our devops team to implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.

- Work with our data engineering team to design and implement data lakes and warehouses using services like S3 or BigQuery.

- Develop and maintain a cloud-based security strategy to protect our customer data and applications.

- Collaborate with our product team to design and implement new features and services for our e-commerce platform.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets our high standards for quality and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise with our cloud-based systems.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption in our organization.

- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure that our systems are always available and running smoothly.

- Collaborate with our engineering teams to design and implement new tools and services to support our cloud-based systems.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures using AWS or GCP services.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

- Experience with serverless computing and containerization using services like Lambda or Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of data storage and processing using services like S3 or BigQuery.

- Experience with collaboration tools like Jira, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitOps.

- Experience with cloud-based e-commerce platforms like Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

- Familiarity with containerization using Docker.

- Experience with cloud-based security tools like AWS IAM or Google Cloud Identity and Access Management.

- Familiarity with data analytics using services like Google Cloud Dataflow or AWS Glue.

- Experience with cloud-based CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.

- Base salary range: 55,000 EUR - 75,000 EUR per year.
