🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Operations Manager — Latin America at Delta Air Lines, you will oversee the strategic development and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure and services for our regional operations. You will report directly to the Director of Cloud Operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions. Your work will impact the efficiency, scalability, and security of our cloud-based infrastructure, ultimately driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and supervise the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services across Latin America

Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards

Develop and maintain relationships with cloud vendors and service providers to ensure best-in-class services and support

Ensure compliance with Delta's cloud security and data protection policies and standards

Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to design and implement cloud-based architectures and solutions

Develop and manage cloud budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning

Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to inform strategic decisions

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for cloud-based projects

Provide technical guidance and support to regional IT teams on cloud-based infrastructure and services

Develop and maintain cloud-based documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and user manuals

Manage and oversee day-to-day cloud operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud operations, management, or related fields

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields

Proven experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure and services, including AWS or Azure

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills

Strong technical knowledge of cloud computing, security, and data protection

Certification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified Cloud Developer

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields

Experience with cloud security frameworks, such as NIST or PCI-DSS

Experience with cloud cost optimization and budgeting

Certification in project management, such as PMP or Agile

We offer a competitive salary range of 500,000 to 700,000 MXN per year, depending on experience
