šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Operations Manager for our Mexico team, you'll be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless music streaming experiences for our users. You'll report directly to our Head of Engineering and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud operations align with business goals. Your expertise will have a significant impact on the scalability, reliability, and security of our services, making you an essential part of our team.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure architecture to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, develop, and implement new cloud-based features and services.

- Develop and maintain cloud operations procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, collaborating with internal teams to minimize downtime and ensure high levels of service quality.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, continuously improving our cloud operations to meet evolving business needs.

- Lead the development and execution of cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to our services.

- Develop and manage cloud budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing resource utilization.

- Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.

- Collaborate with security teams to develop and implement cloud security strategies, ensuring data protection and compliance with regulations.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of experience in cloud operations, engineering, or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Proficiency in containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.

- Experience with cloud security best practices, data encryption, and access control.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to lead complex issue resolution.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with cloud migration, cloud cost optimization, and cloud scalability.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.

- Certification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer.

- Experience with container orchestration, service mesh, and serverless computing.
