🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based security solutions for our international banking systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, while also collaborating with our technology partners to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and innovations. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Cloud Security, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's security posture.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement cloud-based security controls to protect sensitive data and systems

- Collaborate with our security, compliance, and technology teams to ensure alignment and adherence to industry standards and regulations

- Develop and maintain security documentation, including threat models, risk assessments, and security architectures

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential security risks

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices

- Collaborate with our developers and engineers to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based applications

- Develop and implement security awareness training programs to educate employees on cloud security best practices

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud-based security controls

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

- Certified Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification

- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, including NIST 800-53 and ISO 27017

- Experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, and Google Cloud Identity and Access Management

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

- 2+ years of experience in cloud security consulting or a related field

- Experience with cloud security tools, including Threat Intelligence Platforms and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation tools
