🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW
As our E-Commerce Platform Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless online ordering and delivery experiences for our customers. You will be part of a remote team and report directly to our Head of E-Commerce. Your success will be measured by the uptime and performance of our platform, user engagement, and overall customer satisfaction.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design, implement, and maintain the front-end and back-end of our e-commerce platform using the latest web technologies (e.g., React, Redux, Node.js, PostgreSQL) and frameworks.
* Collaborate with our cross-functional team to identify and prioritize new features and improvements, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
* Develop and execute test plans to ensure the stability and performance of our platform.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and impact on customer experience.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and implement them to improve our platform's functionality and security.
* Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of our platform.
* Participate in the development and maintenance of our platform's documentation and knowledge base.
✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of experience in e-commerce platform development and maintenance, with a strong focus on web technologies and frameworks.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and HTML/CSS.
* Experience with React, Redux, and Node.js is a plus.
* Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team.
* Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with GraphQL, Apollo Client, or similar technologies.
* Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
* Certification in DevOps or cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure).
* Experience with version control systems like Git and SVN.
