🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

In this exciting role, you will serve as an E-Commerce Solutions Architect, driving the design, development, and implementation of omnichannel retail solutions that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth. Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, and in-store technologies to create seamless and engaging experiences for our customers. As a key member of our team, you will have a significant impact on shaping the future of Michaels' e-commerce strategy and contributing to the company's overall success.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement omnichannel retail solutions that integrate e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, and in-store technologies to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.

- Develop and maintain technical architecture for e-commerce platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

- Work closely with the product management team to identify and prioritize new feature development and optimization opportunities.

- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of e-commerce system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing recommendations.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for data protection and security.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery of e-commerce solutions.

- Participate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and technical specifications.

- Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and QA engineers.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce solutions architecture, with a focus on omnichannel retail and technology integration.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful e-commerce solutions, with a focus on customer experience and business growth.

- Strong technical skills in e-commerce platforms, web development, and mobile applications.

- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure.

- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
