π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Financial Systems Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration of our financial systems with those of our clients and partners. Working remotely, you will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, creativity, and open communication. You will report directly to the Financial Systems Manager and will be responsible for driving business growth through efficient system integration.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement custom integration solutions using API's, microservices architecture, and data mapping tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize integration projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration guides, API specifications, and testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers as needed.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve integration solutions.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of integration scenarios.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing changes to improve team efficiency.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial system integration, API design, or software development.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API's, and data mapping tools.
- Experience with integration protocols, such as SOAP, REST, and gRPC.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with cloud-based integration platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, including GDPR and FINMA.
- Certification in Integration or API design, such as API-first or Integration Specialist.
