🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Full Stack Web Developer (eCommerce) will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce websites and applications for Publix, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience. This role reports to the Senior Web Development Manager and will have a direct impact on the company's online presence and revenue growth.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable full stack web applications using JavaScript, React, and Node.js.

- Collaborate with the product team to design and implement e-commerce features, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

- Work with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring timely releases and high-quality software.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and best practices to improve overall code quality.

- Maintain and improve existing e-commerce platforms, ensuring compatibility with new technologies and tools.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, mentoring and coaching to help them grow professionally.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying knowledge to improve Publix's online presence and e-commerce capabilities.

- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of e-commerce applications.

- Participate in Agile development methodologies, working closely with the product team to prioritize tasks and meet project timelines.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in full stack web development, with a focus on e-commerce platforms.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and associated technologies.

- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and/or other relational databases.

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and web development principles.

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, such as WooCommerce or Magento.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Experience with cloud-based services, such as AWS or Azure.

- Familiarity with web security and best practices.

- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.

- Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify or BigCommerce.

- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading projects or teams.
