šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
The German Market Operations Manager - Logistics and Supply Chain will play a key role in leading the development and execution of logistics and supply chain strategies for Dollar General's German market. This individual will report to the Vice President of Global Supply Chain and will be responsible for managing a team of logistics and supply chain professionals. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the German market and will be able to develop and implement effective logistics and supply chain solutions that meet the needs of Dollar General's customers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute logistics and supply chain strategies for Dollar General's German market; Manage a team of logistics and supply chain professionals; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective logistics and supply chain solutions; Analyze market trends and adjust logistics and supply chain strategies accordingly; Develop and manage budgets for logistics and supply chain operations; Collaborate with vendors and logistics providers to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with Dollar General's policies and procedures; Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity; Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on international markets; Proven experience in developing and executing logistics and supply chain strategies; Strong understanding of the German market and regulatory environment; Excellent communication and leadership skills; Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions; Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification; Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; Fluency in German and English; Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
