🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Global E-Commerce Category Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our online category growth strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams across the organization. This role will have a significant impact on driving sales, improving customer experience, and expanding our e-commerce presence in Germany and beyond. You will report directly to the Senior Director of E-Commerce and collaborate closely with our category managers, merchant teams, and marketing teams to achieve business objectives.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute category growth strategies to drive sales, customer satisfaction, and loyalty

Work closely with cross-functional teams to launch new e-commerce features and functionality

Collaborate with our merchant teams to optimize category assortment, pricing, and promotions

Analyze sales data and customer behavior to inform category decisions and drive business growth

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive category innovation and expansion

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and retail innovation

Develop and manage category budgets and ROI metrics to measure success

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in e-commerce category management or a related field

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Proven track record of driving category growth and sales through innovative strategies and tactics

Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze sales data and customer behavior

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in a fast-paced, global e-commerce environment

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools, such as Shopify or Amazon Seller Central

Certification in a related field, such as marketing or supply chain management

Strong knowledge of German market trends and consumer behavior

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a highly competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a generous health insurance package and retirement plan.
