🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global Energy Management System Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in leading the integration of our energy management systems across the globe, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operation of our energy assets. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Energy Management Systems, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain our energy management systems, driving business value through improved efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. This role is key to supporting our company's strategic objectives, including reducing our carbon footprint and enhancing customer satisfaction.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and lead the integration of energy management systems, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operation of our energy assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain energy management systems, driving business value through improved efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
• Lead the development of integration plans, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Work closely with IT, operations, and other stakeholders to identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues.
• Develop and maintain integration documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
• Conduct regular system testing and quality assurance to ensure accurate data exchange and business process optimization.
• Provide excellent customer support to internal stakeholders, responding promptly to integration-related issues and concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our energy management systems.
✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in energy management systems or a related field.
• Proven experience with energy management systems integration, including system design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of energy management systems, including SCADA, EMS, and DMS.
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with experience in scripting, automation, and data analytics.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, including data architecture, data governance, and data quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and German, with experience working in a multicultural environment.
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud-based energy management systems, such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps and agile methodologies.
• Certifications in energy management systems, such as those offered by the International Association for Public Transport (UITP).
💰 WHAT WE OFFER
As a Global Energy Management System Integration Specialist at Duke Energy, you can expect a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and 25 days of annual leave.
