🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Head of Global Supply Chain Optimization, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and cost reductions across our global supply chain. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners to design and implement optimized supply chain solutions. Your work will have a direct impact on our bottom line and contribute to our mission of providing the best possible shopping experience for our customers.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Design and optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and distribution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.

Analyze and interpret data to inform supply chain decisions and drive business outcomes.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure supply chain performance.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier management and crisis management.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on process optimization and cost reduction.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.

Advanced knowledge of supply chain software and systems, including SAP, Oracle, and other industry-specific solutions.

Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners.

Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Certification in supply chain management, such as APICS or CSCP.

Experience working in a global retail environment, with knowledge of food retail operations.

Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques, including data visualization and machine learning.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €80,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and vacation days.
