🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Remote Senior Artificial Intelligence Research Scientist, you will be responsible for leading research efforts in AI and machine learning, developing and applying new techniques to solve complex problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market. You will report directly to the AI Research Director and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's AI strategy.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead research efforts in AI and machine learning, identifying and pursuing promising areas of investigation

* Develop and apply new AI and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems in areas such as natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive modeling

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, product management, and data science, to bring innovative solutions to market

* Design and implement large-scale AI and machine learning systems, including data pipelines, model training, and deployment

* Work with data scientists to develop and apply new data analytics techniques to drive business insights and decision-making

* Publish research papers and present at conferences to share knowledge and expertise with the wider AI community

* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning, attending conferences, reading research papers, and participating in online forums and discussions

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 10+ years of experience in AI and machine learning research, with a Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, statistics)

* Proven track record of research excellence, with publications in top-tier conferences and journals

* Expertise in multiple areas of AI and machine learning, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision

* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

* Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience working in a research institution or industry setting, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in AI and machine learning

* Knowledge of industry-standard tools and technologies, including data storage, data processing, and cloud computing

* Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

* Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, such as Tableau or Power BI

* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of researchers and engineers
