šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the DACH region. This includes developing and executing sales strategies, building and managing a pipeline of potential leads, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients. You will report to the Head of Business Development and will play a key role in driving the growth and success of Spectrum's DACH operations.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the DACH region through research, cold outreach, and networking.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Build and manage a pipeline of potential leads, including researching companies, identifying decision-makers, and crafting compelling sales messages.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, delivery, and sales, to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality solutions to clients.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to inform sales strategies and approaches.
* Analyze sales performance and pipeline data to optimize sales approaches and identify areas for improvement.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Spectrum's products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
* Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales strategies, tactics, and metrics.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales performance data and identify areas for improvement.
* Proficiency in CRM software, including Salesforce.
* Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in the DACH region, with a strong understanding of local market trends and conditions.
* Experience with marketing automation software, including HubSpot.
* Additional language proficiency, including French, Italian, or Spanish.
