šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst on our E-commerce Solutions team, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across our organization. Reporting to the Director of Analytics, you will lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions that deliver actionable insights to inform product development, pricing, marketing, and supply chain strategies. Your work will have a direct impact on our online sales growth, customer satisfaction, and market competitiveness.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain large-scale data warehouses, using tools like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery to store and process vast amounts of e-commerce data. Design and implement data visualization dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js to facilitate easy access to key metrics and trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions to address them. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that inform business decisions. Develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms to forecast sales, revenue, and customer behavior. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence, data warehousing, and machine learning. Develop and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and data quality reports to ensure transparency and accountability. Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through effective storytelling, presentations, and written reports.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and data modeling. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js. Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery. Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Experience with predictive modeling tools like Python, R, or SAS. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Flink. Certification in data science, machine learning, or business intelligence. Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello. Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Google Workspace.
