As a Senior Cloud Migration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our cloud migration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions of our automotive systems and applications to the cloud. Reporting directly to our Director of Cloud Engineering, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, plan, and execute cloud migration strategies. Your expertise will enable us to leverage cloud-native services, improve scalability, and enhance our overall digital transformation journey.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for our automotive applications and systems, ensuring minimal disruption to our business operations.

. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement new cloud-native architectures, leveraging cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

. Manage and govern cloud resources, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

. Develop and maintain cloud deployment pipelines, implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

. Work closely with Security and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to cloud security policies and regulatory requirements.

. Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud migration, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

. Develop and deliver technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions to cloud engineering teams.

. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, providing strategic recommendations to our leadership team.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering and migration.

. Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale cloud migration projects, with expertise in cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

. Strong experience in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, leveraging containerization, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

. Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance practices, with experience in managing cloud security policies and regulatory requirements.

. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++, with experience in cloud-native programming frameworks like Kubernetes.
