šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping H-E-B's cloud infrastructure strategy to support its rapidly expanding e-commerce business. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Engineering, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions that meet the company's business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of H-E-B's cloud infrastructure.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop cloud architecture for H-E-B's e-commerce platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud-based services and features into the e-commerce platform.
Develop and maintain cloud migration strategies, ensuring seamless transition from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based systems.
Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to optimize cloud resource utilization, ensuring efficient use of computing resources.
Develop and maintain cloud cost optimization strategies, ensuring cost-effectiveness while ensuring high-quality services.
Develop and implement cloud governance frameworks, ensuring accountability, transparency, and compliance.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems.
Proven experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and industry regulations.
Experience with agile methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification in cloud architecture, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Magento or Shopify.
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
