π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our systems and data in the European market, with a focus on Germany. You will report directly to our Head of Information Security and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust security controls.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity compliance programs to ensure adherence to relevant EU and German regulations, including GDPR and BSI.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and maintain secure systems, processes, and controls.
- Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity awareness and compliance.
- Work closely with our IT team to develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and compliance review to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, with a focus on EU and German regulations.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, BSI, and other relevant EU and German regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience working in the insurance industry or FinTech sector.
- Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of German language and culture.
