🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist — Compliance and Risk Management, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. Reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement compliance programs, and drive security awareness initiatives. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of the curve in an increasingly complex security landscape.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.

• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and ensure the secure deployment of new systems and applications.

• Design and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity, providing expert advice to the leadership team.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of our ecosystem.

• Conduct incident response and crisis management activities to minimize the impact of security breaches.

• Develop and maintain security metrics and reporting to ensure visibility into security performance.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on compliance and risk management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• CISSP or CISM certification, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.

• Expertise in security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.

• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent collaboration and project management skills, with experience working in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of German data protection laws and regulations.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Security.

• Experience with cloud security and compliance, particularly in a multi-cloud environment.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Experience with security testing tools such as Nessus or Burp Suite.

• Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence in cybersecurity.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. You'll also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a retirement plan, and generous vacation days.
