🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Data Governance Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our data assets across Germany operations. Reporting to the Head of Data Governance, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards. Your expertise in data governance, compliance, and risk management will help us mitigate the risks associated with data breaches, non-compliance, and reputational damage. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our business, enabling us to make informed decisions and drive growth while maintaining the trust of our customers.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards across Germany operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines. . Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits to identify and mitigate potential data breaches, non-compliance, and reputational risks. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure data governance alignment with business objectives. . Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on data governance best practices, policies, and procedures. . Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor data governance metrics, trends, and performance indicators. . Collaborate with the data governance team to identify and implement data quality improvement initiatives. . Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in data governance, compliance, and risk management.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. Master's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. . Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance, compliance, or risk management, with a focus on data security, data quality, and regulatory requirements. . Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and COBIT. . Experience with data governance tools, such as data catalogs, metadata management, and data lineage. . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. . Certification in data governance, compliance, or risk management, such as CIPP, CISM, or CISSP.
