🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Financial Services Project Manager will play a key role in the delivery of complex financial services projects, managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders. This role will report directly to the Head of Financial Services and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services industry and will be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The impact of this role will be significant, as it will contribute to the growth and success of Charles Schwab's financial services business in Germany.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and technical specialists.

• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans as necessary.

• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, working closely with stakeholders to resolve any issues.

• Conduct regular project status updates, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Collaborate with the business development team to identify new business opportunities and develop project proposals.

• Analyze project data, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to increase efficiency.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners.

• Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.

• Develop and implement process improvements, ensuring that they are effective and sustainable.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the financial services industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

• PMP certification or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of financial services and software development.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA, Asana, or Trello.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• Agile project management certification, such as CSM or CSPO.

• Experience with cloud-based project management tools.

• Familiarity with data analytics tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Knowledge of financial regulations, such as GDPR and MiFID II.

As a Senior Financial Services Project Manager, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from €60,000 to €80,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
