Senior Full Stack Developer — E-commerce Platform

🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Full Stack Developer on our e-commerce platform team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, efficient, and secure web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and implement solutions that meet our business needs. You will report to the Technical Lead and collaborate with other senior developers to drive technical decisions and architecture.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop new features for our e-commerce platform, using languages such as Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.

Collaborate with designers to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces, adhering to our visual design standards.

Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality code is committed to our repository.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with the DevOps team to ensure minimal downtime.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and technical guides.

Contribute to the improvement of our development workflows, tooling, and processes.

Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of new features and bug fixes.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our platform.

Partner with the DevOps team to optimize the performance and scalability of our platform.

Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a focus on web applications.

Strong understanding of software development principles, including SOLID principles and object-oriented design.

Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.

Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with data storage solutions such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.

Knowledge of web frameworks such as Django or Flask.

Our e-commerce platform team is composed of 15 developers, designers, and project managers who work closely together to deliver high-quality web applications. We prioritize collaboration, open communication, and continuous learning. Recent projects include the development of a new order management system and the optimization of our search functionality.
