🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist in our EU Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our pharmaceutical products in the German market. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to investigate and report adverse events, implement risk management plans, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. You will report directly to the EU Compliance Manager and will contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance pharmacovigilance operations.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect and analyze adverse event reports from German customers and healthcare professionals, and conduct root cause analyses to identify potential safety risks.

Collaborate with our Regulatory Affairs team to ensure compliance with EU pharmacovigilance regulations, including the EudraVigilance system.

Develop and maintain risk management plans to mitigate identified safety risks and ensure patient safety.

Communicate with healthcare professionals and customers to gather information and resolve adverse event queries.

Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials for pharmacovigilance operations.

Presents findings and recommendations to the EU Compliance Manager and other stakeholders.

Maintains accurate and compliant records of adverse event reports, safety assessments, and risk management plans.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in a life science, pharmacy, or a related field.

Proven knowledge of EU pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Fluent in English and German, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in a life science, pharmacy, or a related field.

Experience with EudraVigilance and other EU pharmacovigilance systems.

Familiarity with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) guidelines.

Certification in pharmacovigilance or a related field (e.g., EU Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance).
