🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform strategic supply chain decisions. You will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges and optimize operations. Your contributions will directly impact H-E-B's ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources, including sales data, inventory levels, transportation records, and supplier information, to identify trends and anomalies that may impact supply chain operations. Develop and maintain complex data models, dashboards, and reports to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into supply chain performance. Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations for automation and digitization of supply chain processes. Work closely with suppliers to negotiate better terms, improve data quality, and optimize delivery schedules. Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as supply shortages, transportation disruptions, and inventory imbalances. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, or a related field, preferably in a retail or FMCG company. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. Experience with data modeling, data mining, and statistical analysis. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field. Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or prescriptive analytics. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure. Certification in supply chain management, data analysis, or a related field.
