šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Waste Management Sustainability Consultant - Energy Management Systems, you will be responsible for advising our clients on sustainable energy solutions, analyzing energy consumption patterns, and identifying opportunities for improvement. This role is critical in helping us achieve our environmental goals and reducing our carbon footprint. You will report directly to the Sustainability Director and work closely with our sales and operations teams. Your work will have a significant impact on our clients' environmental performance and contribute to our mission.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement energy management strategies for our clients, reducing their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

- Conduct energy audits and assess current energy systems, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for energy efficiency.

- Collaborate with our sales team to promote our energy management services and develop new business opportunities.

- Design and implement energy-saving projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Analyze energy consumption data and provide insights to our clients, recommending energy-efficient solutions.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our services and solutions.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proficiency in energy management software, such as ArcGIS or EnergyCAP.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

- Experience with energy efficiency certifications, such as LEED or ISO 50001, is a plus.

- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
